This last weekend we all convened together in Utah to celebrate Great-Grandpa's 80th birthday and their 60th wedding anniversary. (I've only been married for two years- we have a long way to go!)
As usual we had way too much fun, eating food and laughing and punching each other and overall just enjoying ourselves.
I can't wait for Thanksgiving.
It's Mama and Daddy on the swings! I'm so grateful for our parents' example of love and devotion too!
This seriously is a great picture of us. I can't get over how much I love it. Even though KT's head looks slightly disjunct from her body.
I wish I had more to write about, but unless you want me to tell you about tracker-action organs or characterization in writing.... there really isn't any fancy news about anything. I mean, I want to say "Surprise! We're getting kittens!" but there's this issue with our landlord and our contract saying in big letters "NO PETS" so... yeah. You'd think with 14 credits that I would have less homework than 18, but I kind of don't. Now I'm super glad I chose not to take any ensembles, even though Symphony Orchestra is playing the "Planets" and Berlioz "Symphonie Fantastique"...... I guess I did play in the student organ recital this last Thursday, and I didn't blow it (which is always a plus). And Dan is still working night shifts (I'm surprised he looks as happy as he does in that picture, he only got about four hours of sleep that morning) but he's earning some pretty sweet paychecks every two weeks so I suppose I shouldn't complain overly much.
And in case you didn't know, we're both planned to graduate this upcoming April, something like the second weekend, so mark your calendars because we both plan on being there! What happens after that? Psh. Like we have a clue. Dan is applying for masters degree program as ISU so we could be joining Andrew and Julie in Poky a year from now, but that's about all we've got.
Hope school and everything is going well for you two- it would be nice if in her next post Meems would mention the degree she finally chose, and if KT has anything she's decided yet she should post that. And anything else of remote interest, of course! Like that fact that I love plain mini marshmallows and am going to go eat some now while I try to finish my homework... Night all!
