Halloweenie

Yes, I now will write my Halloween story... it was so exciting...

First, I went to school. And then I went to the academic advising center (which actually came with really good news that I'll post about VERY soon on my blog, so stay tuned over there). And then I came home and ate leftover homemade pizza. And then I did a little homework. And then we had some trick-or-treaters, three girls who looked to be about late middle/early high school age who were all dressed as witches, but not your typical cute witches, more like goth.... witches.... I don't know. We got another set of three girls in the same style about an hour later, so while the amount of trick-or-treaters at our door this year was up 600% or something, the two-year-old ladybug that was our only treater last year was way cuter.

But I digress.

Anyways, the only other thing we did was eat Halloween candy and play Age of Empires on the computer together. And then one of my friends came over at 11 to hang out for a few minutes before she had to go for curfew at midnight.

And now I'm going to go sit in the warm shower, which is one of the only good things about cold weather (although today it was warm enough to go without a jacket) and then go to bed.

I know, we married folk are boring. But we missed our ward Halloween party last Thursday and while I thought about putting my blue formal dress on to pretend to be a princess, knowing I would just sit on the couch in it made it not as fun.

Also, NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow, so that's the next pseudo-holiday the Yockeyites are celebrating. But other than that (and the usual grind of homework) that's about all that happened here. Yay!
